Teena Munn joins Adelaide Fringe Board

General Manager/ Executive Producer of Windmill Theatre, Teena Munn, has joined the Board of Adelaide Fringe.
Judy Potter, Chair, Adelaide Fringe announced the appointment as Adelaide Festival Centre CEO Douglas Gautier’s time on the Adelaide Fringe Board drew to a close.

“I’d like to extend a warm thank you to Douglas for sharing his invaluable expertise with the Adelaide Fringe for the past 18 months,” she said.

“It has been a real pleasure for me as a Board member at the Adelaide Fringe and I will continue to be a strong advocate for the Fringe” says Douglas.

“We welcome Teena to the Board. She brings a wealth of experience in both managing various performing arts companies and creatively through her experience in producing a range of leading theatrical productions and events”, said Judy Potter.

“I am delighted to accept this appointment at a time when the Adelaide Fringe continues to grow its reputation both nationally and internationally. As one of the best and most significant arts events of its kind in the world I look forward to contributing to its continual growth and success,” says Teena.

Previous to her current role at Windmill Theatre, Teena held Senior Management roles at Arts Projects Australia, WOMADelaide, Musica Viva, Visible Management, the Sydney Olympic Arts Festivals and the Adelaide Festival Centre, including producing and touring major commercial musical theatre productions.

As Executive Producer at Arts Projects Australia, Teena managed tours of internationally renowned companies and artists including, Philip Glass and Ensemble, Diamanda Galas, Compagnie Phillipe Genty, Michael Nyman, David Byrne and the Batsheva Dance Company. 

As Program Manager at the Sydney Olympic Arts Festivals, Teena worked with Artistic Directors Rhoda Roberts, Andrea Stretton and Leo Schofield, delivering four hugely successful arts festivals.

Currently as General Manager/Executive Producer of Windmill, Teena manages the company and works alongside Windmill’s Artistic Director, Rose Myers, in commissioning, producing and presenting new theatrical works and oversees a busy national and international touring schedule.
